Paint House – Wood Siding

Paint Exterior Wood Siding, Trim and Fascia, Window Frames and Shed. Activities undertaken by Pro Works Edmonton;

Surface Preparation: Pressure washing completed 7 days in advance to clean surfaces and allow enough dry time before staining.
Prepped using 60 to 80 grit sandpaper and Milwaukee Orbital Palm Sanders.

Windows were prepped with hand sanding techniques using 80 grit sandpaper and applying Weatherguard Exterior Primer in White on any bare wood surfaces.

All wood moisture content measured using prong tipped moisture meters to ensure wood moisture levels below 14%.

Painting: Siding was stained using Dulux Professional Wood Finishes Solid Stain in Volcanic Ash, applied with 2 ½ inch brushes and 20mm rollers in all tight areas. All large surface areas were masked to prevent any over spray using appropriate paper and plastic masking procedures and sprayed with a Graaco 390 Sprayer using a fine finish tip.

All Fascia and Trim done using Dulux Professional Wood Finishes Solid Stain in White. All Window Frames done using Dulux Diamond Exterior Semi Gloss in White.

Shed stained in two-tone colour scheme as per client request to match the house.

Noteable: All surfaces received 2 coats of product. Applied out of direct sunlight whenever possible for optimal adhesion and curing time.
